Our Story

Welcome to Croatia-Charter.hr, a brand and website specialized for Yacht Charter in Croatia owned by Fair Wind Ltd, a charter company based in Split, Croatia.

I’m Ivana Kovačić, founder and booking manager of Fair Wind. Since 2014, I’ve helped guests plan sailing holidays on our own boats. I created Croatia Charter to offer a wider choice when our fleet is fully booked or a guest needs a different type of yacht.

I work with charter partners across Croatia and can help you compare boats, find a skipper or crew, plan a route and understand the full cost before you book. You’ll have someone who knows the boats and the local charter business to guide you through the options.

The experiences of our guests you can check on Google, Facebook and TripAdvisor.

Testimonials

"Fair Wind exceeded all of our expectations! Timely and clear communication with Ivana set us on the right course for a trip of a lifetime. The boat was immaculate and well appointed, comfortable day and night. The flexibility to go where we wanted to, instead of a prescribed route also made the journey a top experience. We hit the jackpot with our Skipper….." - Rachel, USA

"We had an amazing holiday with fairwind. Everything was perfect, from the very thorough and prompt communication with Ivana prior to our arrival to the very comfortable and well equipped catamaran and the beautiful Dalmatian island scenery. Our skipper Mise was amazing. He went above and beyond to make an itinerary that perfectly suited what we wanted and made our holiday really amazing….." - Heather, Ireland

"It was our third time with Fair Wind which is enough recommendation. Always 100% service and everything we asked for was applied….." - Rosa, Iceland

"Let me start with how very helpful and fast responding and professional yet nice and friendly the team of fair wind are, special Thanks to Ivana who always answers and explain and suggest and made sure we have what we need, from arranging transportation from the airport to the marina, till the end of our amazing 7 day sailing trip between the beautiful Croatian islands.." - Norah, Saudi Arabi

"This is one of those rare experiences where you feel some compulsion to find a way to give someone a sixth star on this website... unbelievable. They were personally recommended by a close friend back home, and we are very much indebted for the reference. Ivana could not have been more helpful if I was her own brother in helping me to plan this trip, which was especially tricky in that we are a family of six travelling during covid and all the rest - but her advice and her assistance and all the rest that she did to ensure our trip was flawless - just impeccable……" - Dave, USA
